ANTIQUES SHOPS STROLL CELEBRATES HOLIDAY SEASON
Toys For Tots to Benefit from Antique Row Event
Tucked between some of West Palm Beach’s most interesting and historic neighborhoods and its trendy downtown is one of the most charming antiques districts on the east coast, West Palm Beach’s Antique Row. On Friday, December 13, 2012, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the South Dixie Antique Row Association begins a new tradition, kicking-off the season with the Holiday Stroll on Antique Row, to benefit Toys For Tots.
Celebrate the winter season as the merchants of the upscale, seven-block shopping district offer visitors a chance to stroll through the unique array of boutiques and galleries and learn why it is a favorite destination among the country’s leading interior designers.
Feast your eyes on the specially decorated store windows while enjoying music, complimentary holiday treats, and drinks. Get into a festive spirit listening to the strolling carolers of Forest Hill Community High School's Chorus, from 6:00 until 8:00. Browse and shop for holiday gifts amongst Antique Row’s renowned selection of 17th to 20th century antiques, decorative arts, modern and art deco furnishings, fine arts, and more. Then, finish your stroll with dinner at one of Antique Row's celebrated restaurants, Maison Carlos, Belle & Maxwell's, and Rhythm Cafe (reservations suggested).
Marine Corps reservists will be on hand to collect toys and donations for their campaign.
Antique Row is located on South Dixie Highway, between Belvedere Road and Southern Boulevard, in West Palm Beach, Florida, with plenty of on-street and lot parking available. For map and directions to Antique Row, click here.
