Join members of the Antique Row Association today as they celebrate the renaming of the Dixie Highway shopping area to the West Palm Beach Antique Row Art and Design District.
Festivities an food begin at 5:30 p.m. at Belle & Maxwell's sandwich shop and tea room, 3700 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach.
The name change is a way to reflect the influx of design studios and art galleries to the district, located between Southern Boulevard and Belvedere Road, said Doreen Danton, an association board member.
"Our shopping district has expand and now includes art galleries, fabric and paint stores, and interior designers who now call Antique Row home. We felt that our name should reflect the new excitement and how the area is growing," Danton said.
